Fuelled by the electric energy of a Muse concert, and with anti-authoritarian lyrics echoing in my ears, I embarked on a creative journey unlike any other. Hungover yet inspired, I shaped clay with rebellious intent, carving away at its edges to reveal a sharp, eroded facade. Stains and underglazes fused with runny slip, transforming the vessel into an abandoned, rundown structure. My transfers, applied with laser precision, added a touch of protest artistry. Glaze and fire brought the piece to life, with vibrant colors and an oil slick glimmer. This vase, aptly named 'Revolt #,1' became my temporary escape from the chaos, a tangible manifestation of resistance against a crumbling system.
